New Zealand’s most prestigious and competitive polo tournament, the NZ Polo Open, has announced the recent collaboration and partnership with U.S. Polo Assn., the official brand of the United States Polo Association (USPA).
The final of the 47th NZ Polo Open will be held at Auckland Polo Club, Clevedon, this Sunday, February 18.
Six polo teams will compete for the celebrated trophy before thousands of fans.
The NZ Polo Open is touted as the social and sporting event of the summer, showcasing the best in action, fashion, and hospitality.
“We are thrilled to have U.S. Polo Assn. as our new partner,” says Lucy Ainsley, executive director of the NZ Polo Open.
“To be recognised internationally by global polo partners is an exciting step for NZ Polo Open. The growth and opportunity this can bring to the event and the sport of polo in New Zealand is tremendous.”
J. Michael Prince, president and CEO, USPA Global, the company that manages and oversees the multi-billion-dollar, global U.S. Polo Assn. lifestyle brand, said they’re proud to be sponsoring the NZ Polo Open.
