Premier Women take the win against Papatoetoe

It was a mixed bag for the Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club’s men’s and women’s premier sides at the weekend.

Papatoetoe 274/9 (B Rowland 118, S Money 44) defeated Hibiscus Coast 225/8 (J Grobler 73, BJ Jacobs 34, T van der westhuizen 32*) by 49 runs.

Kumeu 240/8 (A Christian 89, J Patel 50) defeated Suburbs New Lynn 232/8 (T Patel 123, L Devereaux 37, R Jenner 3-43, J Patel 3-49) by eight runs.

Parnell 122/4 (M Mason-Jones 35) defeated Cornwall 79/8 by 43 runs.

Parnell 68 (R Ellison 3-14) lost to Auckland University 70/1 (E Handyside 36*) by nine wickets.

Cornwall 91/6 lost to Papatoetoe 92/2 (C Agafili 59*) by eight wickets.
