With tails wagging, and owners in tow, dozens of dogs took part in the Good Home’s SPCA fundraiser on Sunday.
Around 20 dogs turned up throughout the afternoon to enjoy a puppchino and dog treat, says The Good Home’s food and beverage manager April Campbell.
Campbell says the day went well and the puppychinos and dog treats were a huge success.
Spot prizes including dog toys and marrow bones were given to each of the dogs in attendance.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who turned up and supported the fundraiser.”
This is the first SPCA fundraiser the Good Home has held, but Campbell, who got the idea from her volunteer work with the SPCA, says it definitely won’t be the last.
The event raised around $220 which will be donated to the SPCA to help them continue their work protecting Auckland’s sick, abandoned and abused animals.
Still want to donate? The Good Home will have the leftover dog treats on sale for the rest of the week.
