A Kiwi-owned and operated business has launched a Pakuranga branch.
Chief executive officer Romero Tagi says that Pop Up Play is a “social enterprise that empowers people to live healthier and fuller lives through the power of play”.
Since 2019, Pop Up Play has run more than 350 events, engaging with tens of thousands of Kiwis removing physical, social and economic barriers that “keep individuals from accessing and reaping the benefits of social exercise”.
“This business launch is monumental in our business journey as we will now be delivering age-specific classes from our Pakuranga branch and also offering the space to hire for community organisations and our boardroom as a meeting room and co-working area,” Tagi says.
“The purpose of our launch is to connect stakeholders and the community and celebrate the opening of our venue.”
Tagi told the Times that Pop Up Play is the “only business and space of our kind”.
The launch was on November 1 in Half Moon Bay.
