Three youths were caught by police after allegedly being involved in the recent burglary of an east Auckland business.
A police spokesperson says the incident unfolded in the early hours of December 1.
At about 3.47am police responded to reports of a burglary in Flat Bush.
Three people had broken into a commercial address in Thomas Road.
“It’s understood they took a large number of items from the location before leaving the scene in a waiting vehicle.
“With the assistance of our police Eagle helicopter, units located those involved in Mangere a short time later.
“All three were taken into custody and have been referred to Youth Aid.”
