I write to thank and congratulate all those involved in the sound and light tribute which was shown at Fencible Walk in the evenings leading up to Anzac Day.
This was a brilliant idea, executed to a very professional standard. It acknowledged the soldiers and nurses of World War I in a meaningful and respectful way. Thanks are due to the Howick Village Association for initiating the project, and to all those many people who helped make it happen.
Thank you also to the Howick Village Association for the white crosses and poppy display in Fencible Walk. A very poignant tribute.
We are fortunate indeed to have such talent and initiative in our community.
