Tired of this attitude

It is with some consternation I read Dennis Horne’s letter “Manmade Global Warming” (Times, Nov 17).

The concern I have is the suggestion that climate change deniers, anti-vaxxers and Trump fall foul of God.

I am tired of hearing this kind of attitude towards these groups of people. We are a democracy at the end of the day and people have a right to their opinions and, as long as they are legal, to act on them.

Of course, we could become a totalitarian society and simply get rid of any dissenters if that’s what we want but I am sure you would agree that’s not the road to go down.

This kind of expression makes me wonder the direction we are heading as a nation.
