Pakuranga United Rugby Club’s premiers have finished second in their pool following an outstanding win against Waitakere City at the weekend.
The Green Machine now has to change gear as they move onto the next round, said prems coach Pita Alatini.
“It all starts again this week with the top eight teams,” he said.
“It was a pleasing effort more than the result! The boys managed to start strong and carry it through for the majority of the game.
“We had a few changes and gave a couple of boys an opportunity and they took it and now the pressure is back on us as coaches to find the right selection mix for this weekend.”
